June 8th Reds vs Cardinals

* Reds lose opening game of series 9-2, Adam Wainwright pitched 7 strongs, gave two Runs, two Earned, fanned 7 and walked only one. That walk was only his 7th all year.

* Last night’s homerless contest between the Reds and Cardinals, was only the 67th in the 11 year, 842 game history of GABP.

* Freese has a 17 game hitting streak, Carpenter 16 game hitting game streak, Craig 11 game hitting streak, and beltran has an 8 game hitting. ( Talk about hitting, the cardinals are hitting the ball well with runner’s in scoring position) * Lead the league *
