Greatest Time to Be A Sports Fan

Well, we are halfway through March. We all know what that means. March Madness is about to be upon us, and spring training is in full swing. You can see my bracket Here. I had a tough time this year picking teams. You never know what will happen in March Madness. Isn’t it great, though? I usually don’t do any good on these brackets, but it’s still fun to watch the tournament unfold.

With all that said, spring training is in full swing. The Cincinnati Reds are rebuilding which will make for an interesting year. The Indians should contend for the AL central crown. Hopefully, they don’t get off to a slow start, if that happens then I don’t see them contending. I will also be covering the Columbus Clippers (AAA Indians) this season for 27outs.

Time to talk some baseball.

In recent weeks, I’ve been planning the 2016 baseball season. I have trips planned to Indianapolis, Louisville, and Toledo this season. I also have trips planned to Cleveland, Cincinnati, Boston, and Baltimore on the MLB circuit.

I will also be covering the Food City 500 at Bristol Motor Speedway. So I will be in Bristol the weekend of the race. I will be exploring the city and be jotting down everything Bristol has to offer to NASCAR fans for stadium journey.

So sit back and enjoy this wild, and crazy 2016 sports season with me. It’s going to be a great year.

Announcement

Just wanted to keep everyone up-to-date with what has been going on with me in the last couple of weeks.

I accepted two new positions. One will be for a Stadium Journey writing job. If you don’t know what Stadium Journey is then you are missing out. Stadium Journey offers reviews of just about any type of stadium, field, ballpark you could hope for. That’s one of the main reasons why I decided  to write for them.

I have also accepted a Freelance position with Time Warner Cable Sports. Mainly helping out with the TV side of things. I will mainly be a Grip (Holding a Cable) and might get to operate a hand held camera as well.

I’m very excited about both of these new additions as it beefs up the resume. In addition to that I will still be very much involved with the great MiLB website 27outsbaseball.com

27outs is my passion and will always be my number one priority. I love everything about that website and the people behind it. I also love covering Triple-A international league for them and The Columbus Clippers. Thankful that Frank and Chris brought me on and have showed me the ropes. Stay tuned because we at 27outs have some great stuff planned for the baseball off-season.

I will also be co-hosting along with Chris Hogan at 27outs a Triple-A podcast next season. So stay tuned for that as well.

As far other stuff going right now. Well college is kicking my butt but I’m enjoying the college experience. I’m also learning the AP style of writing. So I can take my writing to the next step. With that said Thanksgiving is coming up so I hope everyone will have a safe and fun holiday.
