The Red’s Offenese woe’s keep’s on getting worse for the Reds. The offense only scored two run’s in today’s game, ( Five total run’s in three games ).

The Reds bright offense spot’s has to be Brandon Phillips who has 26 RBIs and Their new center fielder and lead off man Shin Soo Choo, who has a OBP of .477

The Reds have an off day tomorrow in Chicago ( Their first in 20 days 10-10 ).

Tonight on Twitter I @mrbaseballman will be hosting ( Scoring 101 ) How to keep score during an baseball game.

1st). You will need an scorecard, if you do not have one you can go here http://www.baseballscorecard.com/downloads.htm and download one. ( you need to be able to get an PDF )

2nd). You will need a Pen, ( Red and Black Ink ) and Pencil

3rd). Know the Position Numbers in Baseball

Pitcher= 1

Catcher= 2

First Baseman= 3

Second Baseman= 4

Third Baseman= 5

Short Stop = 6

Left Fielder= 7

Center Fielder = 8

Right Fielder = 9

4th). You will need to Know some common score Keeping Abbreviations.

1B: Single

2B: Double

3B: Triple

HR: Home Run

RBI: Run-Batted-IN

BB: WALK

HBP: Hit by Pitch

K: Strikeout ( Backwards K on a scorecare mean Called out strikes )

5th). This all you need to know to start out. you want to fill you’r score card out early. I tend to fill mine out, hour and half before game time.
